ACPSS has been issuing the Strategic Papers
on monthly basis since January 1991. The series provides contemplative
material about various challenges facing Egypt and the Arab world and
proposes alternative visions, policies, and choices for facing those
challenges. The series is mainly addressing decision-makers,
specialized circles, and concerned elite. Although the series complies
with the academic criteria, the opinions of individual papers are those
of their respective authors. ACPSS started to issue a separate English
edition of the series in January 1995 for the sake of presenting
various Egyptian viewpoints to foreign readers
