Arab Strategic Report is considered the first regular annual report published by the center since 1985. The report aims at forming a new model for strategic thinking, suitable for tackling issues of the Arab world, and the formerly labeled Third World. The report seeks the creation of an Arab perspective for strategic studies based on the basic principles set by the center.
Ever since the release of the report in 1985, it has followed a syllabus that pairs the analysis of major developments of the year with presenting the largest amount of information.
Starting in 1997, the report has given more priority to analyzing and evaluating basic developments of the year from Arab interests' perspective, and visualizing future horizons, which in turn creates the grounds for arguments and debates of an academic level in political and intellectual circles. The report is divided into three main sections:
1. The International and regional system
2. The Arab regional system
3. The Arab Republic of Egypt.
